How to Apply for Scholarships

While APRTC would like to make its agLearn online courses available at no cost to all deserving agricultural professionals, it is not yet in a position to do so. Developing and hosting these courses is expensive and expert facilitators require compensation for their time and expertise. We have, however, set up a scholarship fund that can be used to support the tuition of interested and qualified students.

If you are an agricultural professional working in the Asia-Pacific region, involved in the promotion of sustainable agriculture, working with farmers and in need of financial support to take advantage of an agLearn course please do the following:

• Click [Register with agLearn]
• Fill out the registration form. If you have already taken an agLearn course, be sure to login with your username and password. Your information will appear on the registration form.
• Select the course and offering that you would like to attend.
• Select the 'Scholarship' option in the Method of Payment section.
• Click [Done]. We will try respond to your application within 24 hours.
  

To be eligible for a scholarship, we must receive a recommendation from your supervisor supporting your participation in the course. Your supervisor can email this to info@aprtc.org.
